Twilight actor Rob Pattinson collided with a taxicab while making his way amid a New York City mob of frenzied fans. According to some reports, the incident took place on the street outside the Strand bookstore downtown.
Apparently, he was trying to run across the street to avoid a mob of frenzied fans when he collided with a moving cab. However, Pattison didn’t receive any injury and he quickly walked away from the scene.
According to production sources on the set of the movie “Remember Me” mobs of fans often try to get around Pattinson wherever they go for filming. People often seem to look for getting a glimpse of him.
Because of this very reason, the actor has to hire his own security aside from the bodyguards that have been provided by Summit Entertainment. The source also said that Pattinson had a positive mentality regarding his fans.
“It seems that he likes all that and doesn’t want to make some really big deal in this connection. He is quiet and chill guy till now.”
